How Long do I have to Answer a Motion Paper

If you are served with a motion – anything from divorce litigation, child support, or other issues – you have 15 days to respond.
If your motion date is on a Friday, you have the two Thursdays before to respond – to get the paperwork in the court’s and the other party’s hands.
