COVID-19: Your safety is our priority. Amidst the COVID-19 outbreak, we are doing our part to keep our clients and team members safe and healthy. We are still open and accepting new cases everyday. However, during this time we will not be accepting drop offs and pickups from any of our Firm locations. The wheels of justice are still moving, but you can stay home while we fight for you.
Unfortunately if you are bitten by someones dog and you may not know that person, there’s some information that you need to gather
This is the same type of information you would gather if you were in a car accident. You want to find out the name and address of that person, you want to confirm that person owns the dog, and that the dog has had proper shots and is properly licensed and registered
If you are injured, you may have a right to have your medical bills paid by that person’s homeowners insurance or regular insurance
You have to make sure that you’re protected by consulting an attorney. Different rules apply to different situations in dog bite cases
Most cases occur on the property of the owner, but if somebody happens to be walking their dog in front of your house and you get bitten, you need to know what your rights are. Absolutely consult an attorney if that happens.
